Dear Nancy,
Many thanks for yours. Great excitement. No. I didn’t know that Paul
was prior. What's the evidence, I wonder? I've discovered that
scholars will say and believe absolutely anything. If the Epistles
came first, isn't that rather damaging? How come that Paul doesn't
mention (i.e. didn't know about) a great many rather significant
events? (I'd always rather suspected that he made up his own Jesus ad
lib: the two figures seem to differ as much from each other (i.e. in
Epistles and Gospels) as the Gods of the Old and New Testament.
